The days before Christmas

20121225-020645.jpgThe days before Christmas always tend to be very busy ones. There are the obvious parties being thrown by friends, the company I work for and such. There is often the late Christmas shopping that needs to be done. Apart from that, there always pops up the weekend before and I need to catch up with my blogging as well. To fit this all into four days is hard enough as it is. Now today I had to fit in working, a Christmas party and attending a birthday party as well. Challenging really! Continue reading

Together we can change

20121225-013948.jpgOver the past few years a lot of people integraded social media in their lives. Personally I can barely imagine not having Facebook, Twitter or WordPress anymore. Therefore I often acknowledge the changes they make when it comes to their terms. Until I read Instagram took the liberty to share my pictures with third parties. Without letting us know it and without us actually giving permission to do so. The result? A major protest from the online community. With success. Continue reading →

A shot in the dark movie night

20121225-010611.jpgTuesday is often a night where I train for football or otherwise settle in front of the television and watch football. Yesterday both possibilities were ruled out. There was no football shown on television and there was no training scheduled. Therefore a friend, my brother and I decided it would make a good night to go catch a movie. Yes, this weekend I reach my mid-twenties and somehow I feel like expectations shifted. Then again, that will be food for another blog. Right now I just like to share some stories and thoughts of my birthday weekend! Continue reading

A friendly dinner with colleagues

sushi2-291x300In order to perform at a high standard, a department, within a company, should cooperate as a team. To achieve just that, a team building session or an occasional get away might be the perfect tool. Yesterday, the team I work in at the company I work for had such an occasional get away. After a few weeks of debating, we all agreed to have dinner together at a sushi restaurant in a city nearby. Just to meet one another in a different setting.

To have or not to have a car-kit

motorola_roadster_tz700_bluetooth_portable_visor_car_kit_4With my twenty-fifth birthday coming up this weekend, my parents have been asking me what present I would like. Well, since I don’t have the best car kit for my telephone, I thought that would be a nice one. With only three more days to go and a full agenda, last night seemed to be the right moment to seek and buy one. Therefore I headed out with my dad to the Media Markt in order to find myself one that actually works good. Continue reading
